New Year’s gift-prize is attached 🙂  (see below)

The coming year, as we are accustomed to the Chinese calendar, is considered the year of the dog. The project www.mascaron.org  would like to correspond to the «trend», but so far it has not been possible to find a dog among the photos of the facade decoration loaded into the project  data base. Therefore, the dress of Santa Claus tried on today a lion, but what!

In the next 2019 he will be 110 years old! In 1909 a monument to Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol was erected on the Arbat Square at the very beginning of Gogol Boulevard (http://mascaron.org/?pid=2132) under the project of sculptor Nikolai Andreev. Now this monument is Gogol, «who is siting» (remember: «who will plant him, he is a monument” 🙂 . Here is a “play” of two Russian words arrest and plant / sit )  — moved to the yard of house 7 on Nikitsky Boulevard (Gogol House Museum). But his native «environment» — four lanterns, the bases of which is decorated  by  lions,  remained in their rightful place. But by themselves these lions are very noteworthy for lovers of history and architecture of Moscow.

Look at the more «noticeable» lions that, like Pushkin wrote in Eugene Onegin «… .and the lions on the gate.» Yes, yes those same lions from the pylons of the gates of the English Club (it is the house of Kheraskov, it is the house of Count Razumovsky) on Tverskaya Street! Is not it true, at least in the muzzles of both specimens the related traits are clearly visible. Drawing manes and «fringe» on the paws further strengthens the thought of these their kinship ties. Despite the fact that Andreev laid down his lions at the base of the lanterns, he did not hide that the prototype was the lions «Le comte Leon» — the lion-graph, as they called Leo Kirillovich Razumovsky.

Surprisingly, in Moscow there is still an ode to a pair of lions — almost an exact copy of those that «on the gate.»

PS. But there are a few more lions from the house of Razumovsky on Tverskaya Street, and their copies, of which even the owners of the originals had no idea until recently. 🙂

Наступивший год, как нас приучает  Китайский  календарь, считается годом собаки. Хотелось бы  соответствовать  “тренду”, но пока что не удалось обнаружить  среди фотографий фасадного декора,  загруженных  в рамках проекта www.mascaron.org , собаку.  Поэтому наряд Деда Мороза примерил сегодня лев, но зато какой !

В следующем 2019 году ему исполнится 110 лет !  В 1909 году на Арбатской площади в  самом начале Гоголевского  бульвара  (http://mascaron.org/?pid=2132 ) по проекту  скульптора Николая Андреева был  установлен памятник Николаю Васильевичу Гоголю. Ныне этот памятник – Гоголь,  “который сидит”  (помните: “кто ж его посадит, он же памятник” 🙂 ) —  перебрался  во двор дома 7 по Никитскому бульвару (дом-музей Гоголя).  А вот его родное “окружение” – четыре фонаря,  основания которых украшают эти львы остались на своем законном месте.  Но и сами по себе эти львы весьма примечательны для любителей истории и архитектуры Москвы.

Посмотрите на более “примечаемых” львов, которые, как Писал Пушкин в Евгении Онегине “….и львы на воротах”. Да, да те самые львы с пилонов ворот  Английского клуба (он же дом Хераскова,  он же дом Графа Разумовского) на Тверской !  Вот он, лев  “на воротах“ какой — http://mascaron.org/?pid=2135

Не правда ли, уж как минимум,  в мордах обоих экземпляров явно просматривается родственные черты. Рисунок гривы и  “бахрома” на лапах еще более укрепляет мысль об этих  их родственных связях.  Несмотря не то, что Андреев уложил своих львов  у основания фонарей, он и не скрывал, что прообразом  послужили именно  львы “Le comte Leon» – графа-льва, как называли Льва Кирилловича Разумовского.

Удивительно,  но в Москве есть еще ода пара львов – практически точная копия тех, что “на воротах”.

PS. Но есть еще несколько львов из дома Разумовского на Тверской, и их копии, о существовании которых даже владельцы оригиналов не догадывались до недавнего времени. 🙂

Новая возможность сайта — «Описание Дома»

2018_01_28 Внимание ! В настоящее время на сайте проводятся работы, связанные с реализаций новой возможности – “Описания дома”. Это  текстовое описание дома — справочная информация по архитектуре и истории, ассоциированные с данным адресом легенды. Это описание по желанию автора может дополняться фотографиями общего вида и архитектурного ландшафта, связанного с данным адресом, а также фотографии интерьера дома, Описание дома  представлено на карте отдельными маркерами (с буквой I).

Отображение на карте маркеров описания дома, а также и самих фотографий проекта с настоящего момента реализовано в виде отдельных слоев карты, отображение которых управляется соответствующей отметкой в “check box” слева над картой.  Кроме того, в  карточке  фотографий объектов, расположенных по адресу, для которого загружено Описание Дома под миниатюрой фотографии отображается активная ссылка – ОПИСАНИЕ АДРЕСА,  по которой можно перейти в это описание.

Вскоре будет реализована дополнительная возможность контекстного поиска по описаниям домов.

Проект www.mascaron.org  приносит свои извинения за возможные временные неудобства в связи с работами на сайте, и присутствие тестовых описаний домов. Зарегистрированные пользователи уже сейчас могут присылать в виде почтового сообщения на сайте описания  для выбранных ими домов.

New featue on the site — «Descriptions of the house»

2018_01_28 Attention! Currently, there are a work on the implementation of a new feature — «Descriptions of the house.» This is a textual description of the house:  reference information on architecture and history associated  legend. This description by the  author wishes, can be supplemented with photographs of the general view and architectural landscape associated with this address, as well as photographs of the interior of the house.The house descriptions are presented on the map by separate blue markers (with the letter I).

The display on the map of the markers of the description of  the house, as well as of the project photos themselves, is now implemented as separate map layers. Displaying of these layers  is controlled by a mark in the «check box» on the left above the map. In addition, in the card of the objects photo located at the address for which the Description of the House is loaded under the thumbnail of the photo, the active link — DESCRIPTION OF THE ADDRESS  (currently in Russian only, soon will be duplicated in English ) is displayed, where you can go to this description.

Soon, an additional opportunity of contextual search for descriptions of the house will be realized. The project www.mascaron.org apologizes for possible temporary inconvenience in connection with the work on the site
